OPEN HOUSE PUBLIC MEETING

STATE and FEDERAL AID PROJECT NO. H.011098

LA 30: SOUTH BLVD - W CHIMES ST

EAST BATON ROUGE PARISH

The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development (LADOTD) is proposing improvements to LA 30 (Nicholson Drive) in East Baton Rouge from South Boulevard to W. Chimes Street and the relocation of an I-10 exit ramp terminal. Construction would include the institution of access management systems along the LA 30 corridor, the addition of subsurface drainage, roadway resurfacing and pavement rehabilitation, and the addition of connective sidewalks along the entirety of the corridor. The I-10 Highland/Nicholson exit ramp terminal would be relocated from its current location at Terrace Street to a new point tying into Oklahoma Street. The purpose of the meeting is to provide information about the project and to obtain input from interested parties. There will be a continuous multi-media presentation about the project. Additional project information will be available. Representatives from LADOTD will be available at the open house to answer questions and discuss issues related to the project. Verbal and written comments on the project can be submitted at the meeting. Comments can also be mailed to the address shown below, postmarked by August 9, 2018.
