Music City Bowl Game: LSU vs. Notre Dame
Come down to Town Square this Tuesday, December the 30th, to watch the Music City Bowl Game at 2PM. Baton Rouge's very own LSU Tigers (8-4) will face off against the Notre Dame Fighting Irish (7-5) in this intense game to see which team will come out on top. This is a game not to be missed!

Red Stick Revelry
This 2nd Annual Red Stick Revelry New Year's Eve celebration will feature local favorite David St. Romain who will perform at 6:30PM on Dec. 31 at the Crest Stage. He will be followed by a return performance by the band Phat Hat from 9PM to midnight as the Red Stick drops from the Town Square Media Beacon!

Classic Christmas Celebration at the USS Kidd
Join the USS Kidd Museum this holiday season for a free screening of some Classic Christmas Movies in the Museum Theatre. Family favorites such as: "Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer," "Frosty the Snowman" and "Santa Claus is Comin' to Town" will be screened daily. Movie entrance is FREE with your paid admission to the museum.

Stories in Art at LSUMOA
Brrrr its cold outside, and in the LSU Museum of Art Stories in Art kicks off 2015 with a session inspired by the author, illustrator, artist Ezra Jack Keats. Begin with a reading of The Snowy Day. Keats received the 1963 Caldecott Medal for his illustrations in the book featuring a boy named Peter exploring his neighborhood after the first snowfall of the season. Following the story children will get to work creating an artwork about winter in the city using paper shapes, sponge painting and cotton balls.

Saturday at the Market
Our Saturday Farmers Market is in downtown Baton Rouge and is a producer only market. Once a week, local and seasonal produce, baked goods, and farm raised meat and eggs can be purchased downtown. The market is a fun shopping event for all ages, featuring not only local foods but quality handcrafts and live music.
