#MovieNightBR
The DDD, Arts Council, and 225 Magazine are bringing you another outdoor movie night, #MovieNightBR (Valentine Edition)! This movie night is a unique outing meant for you to spend an evening with a special someone, a group of friends, or even solo if you prefer! North Boulevard Town Square's Galvez Lawn is offering a FREE showing of Dirty Dancing under the giant CREST sculpture. The movie will begin promptly at 7PM.

Spanish Town Mardi Gras Parade
Spanish Town's 35th Annual Parade will rock out once again on Saturday, February 14th at 12 noon. Parade begins on Spanish Town Road and Fifth Street and ending on Lafayette Street and Main Street. This Krewe rolls with a fleet of 85 - 90 crazy-schemed floats or more. Dance to the marching bands, hands poised for catching exotic goodies. Come early and bring your lawn chairs. Join King Shelby Holmes, Queen Johanna Smith, and Grand Marshal Allen Kirkpatrick in the 2015 parade.

Capitol Park Musuem Spanish Town Parade Party
Celebrate Mardi Gras festival style with Friends of the Capitol Park Museum. Join them for food, fun and one great parade! Admission Includes: Complimentary soft drinks and cash bar, Nice Dogs gourmet hot dogs, Jambalaya by Heirloom Cuisine & King Cake, Private covered parade viewing area on Spanish Town Road,Private seating area, Crafts/activities for kids - face painting, Mardi Gras mask making, cookie decorating station, Signature Spanish Town Parade T-Shirt, Bathroom access, On-site security, and Music.

Pre-Parade Breakfast at the Market
Meet friends inside Main Street Market for breakfast or lunch before the Spanish Town Mardi Gras Parade this Saturday. Restaurants will have a full menu of dine in or grab and go food and drinks to enjoy before the parade. Main Street Market will be open from 8AM to noon. The Red Stick Farmers Market, normally held outside, will be closed this Saturday due to the parade. Main Street Market will also be closed on Tuesday, February 17th in observance of the Mardi Gras holiday.

Ultimate Louisiana Mardi Gras Party
Henry Turner Jr. & Flavor will headline an Ultimate Louisiana Party-Mardi Gras Celebration on Saturday, Feb. 14th from 10:00AM to 6:00PM. The event will be held at the North Boulevard Town Square in Baton Rouge and feature live entertainment, marching bands, a vendor village and food. The event is FREE to the public.

Jazz Listening Room with Stephanie Jordan
Her musical roots run deep. Stephanie Jordan is the daughter of saxophonist Edward "Kidd" Jordan. Stephanie Jordan is the fifth performer to emerge from this family of New Orleans musicians. This event will be the Hartley/Vey Studio Theatre and is a part of the Arts Council's Jazz Listening Room series.
