		Providence Corporate Cup 5K The Providence Corporate Cup Run/Walk includes thousands of people participating each year as company teams or individuals on a 5k (3.1 mile) race course. Hundreds of companies throughout our community participate, and many companies have on-site tent locations for their employees, business associates, and friends. 		Singer Songwriter Showcase The Spring Songwriter Showcase (previous Holiday Songwriter Night rescheduled from Dec. 30th) will feature our "homeboys" that are making waves on the music scene in Nashville. 		The Fading Line: A Commemoration of the 1953 Baton Rouge Bus Boycott The Fading Line: A Commemoration of the 1953 Baton Rouge Bus Boycott is a multi-media performance which relays the story of the nation's first successful boycott of the Civil Rights Movement. Mid City Dance Project, Inc. in conjunction with New Venture Theatre, guest artists, and local professional artists will use dance, spoken word, music and video oral histories of actual participants to bring awareness and celebrate the champions of this nine-day, successful and peaceful protest.
