Live After Five - Cowboy Mouth Live after Five in Downtown Baton Rouge is the Capital City's premier FREE outdoor concert series. The Spring season kicks off with a Louisiana favorite, Cowboy Mouth! Blues Fest Lagniappe at Hartley/Vey Theatre For the third year in a row, Forum 35, Dialogue on Race Louisiana, and the Baton Rouge Blues Foundation will bring together a panel of local blues artists and industry experts to give you "a little somethin' extra" prior to the 2015 Baton Rouge Blues Festival. The goal of the BR Blues Fest Lagniappe is to give you an intimate look into the impact these artists had on Louisiana's culture through their music that came to be called "blues."

Red Stick Farmer's Market Join BREADA this Saturday, April 4, for a delicious hot breakfast before picking up all of your market necessities. Bring the kids out for face painting and live music by the Lagniappe Dulcimer Society. Also, this week, the East Baton Rouge Master Gardeners will be returning with tips for growing local vegetables. Local vendors will have a variety of root vegetables, Ponchatoula strawberries, leafy greens, prepared meals, cheeses, fresh eggs, artisan breads and more. Get your fill of fresh seafood for the last week of Lenten meals. The Fresh from the Market cooking demonstration inside Main Street Market will take place at 10AM in the North Street seating area featuring fresh and local ingredients from the market in seasonal recipes. This week's cooking demonstration will feature Eusebio Gongora from Lucy's Retired Surfer Bar. Pick up some tips and tricks and sample their dish this Saturday.
