Live After Five - Flamethrowers
Live after Five in Downtown Baton Rouge is the Capital City's premier FREE outdoor concert series. The Spring season continues with the party rock band Flamethrowers! Live After Five Concerts are held on Fridays from 5PM-8PM in North Boulevard Town Square under the award winning Crest sculpture. The Baton Rouge Symphony Orchestra closes its season with two Russian blockbusters. The BRSO Chorus joins us in Prokofiev's epic film score to Alexander Nevsky, a work that among the masterpieces of the 20th Century and is noted for its dramatic scope and character.

After stopping in Main Street Market for a freshly prepared breakfast from one of our many vendors, join BREADA this Saturday, April 25, to pick up some colorful local produce. Bring the kids out to pick up their tokens and goodies at the Sprouts table so the whole family can join in on the fun. Due to poor weather conditions last week, stop by the coffee booth this week to sign up for Strawberry Jam Giveaways. Local vendors will have a variety of leafy greens, root vegetables, strawberries, pastured pork & chicken, fresh-caught seafood, vegetable plants, native wines, cheeses, baked goods and more. The Fresh from the Market cooking demonstration inside Main Street Market will take place at 10AM in the North Street seating area featuring fresh and local ingredients from the market in seasonal recipes. This week's cooking demonstration will feature our very own Chef Celeste Gill. Pick up some cooking tips and sample her dish.
