Jamie Wax performs a comedic act that portrays five separate mental patients at the East Louisiana State Mental Hospital in Jackson, La. These characters are all in competition to be the spokesmodel for a mental health campaign. It's guaranteed to be a great show.

Happy's Run Club
Happy's Run Club runs every Tuesday at 6:00 p.m. (run begins at 6:15 sharp) - Starting at the Roux House Patio on 3rd Street downtown. The runs rotate between 3 routes in order to keep things fresh. Don't worry, maps are provided before the weekly run. The club was started in 2008 by Scott Higgins and Michael Lang with the support of Jack Warner and Happy's Irish Pub. The sole philosophy of the club is also our motto: "Run... drink... and be HAPPY!"

Red Stick Farmer's Market
Summer's Fresh Fest continues at Red Stick Farmers Market and Main Street Market on Saturday as the cucumber takes center stage with "Cool as a Cucumber." Fresh from the Market host chef Celeste Gill welcomes Judy Myhand of the LSU Dietetics Department to the morning cooking show at 10 am in the North Street seating area inside Main Street Market. Together Myhand and Gill will showcase the cucumber in a variety of summer recipes. Outside at Red Stick Farmers Market guest chefs from the Louisiana Culinary Institute will sample recipes that use the cucumber and will be on hand to suggest menu ideas for summertime entertaining. Children will enjoy face painter and artist Liz Lopes who will join the Fresh Fest activities this weekend and create "cool" artwork for children's faces. Fifth & Main Street.
