The first installment of this after work event begins this Thursday, August 18 at 6 p.m. in the LSU Museum of Art galleries on the fifth floor of the Shaw Center for the Arts. The museum will be providing special free admission for this event. Stroll through the re-installation of the permanent collection, Art in Louisiana: Views into the Collection, while Magnolia Strings plays a selection of Baroque and classical compositions. Capital City Grill will be donating a selection of dishes from their menu, and a cash bar will be available until 8 p.m. LSUMOA will also be accepting donations of supplies and non-perishable food items for area shelters. Join in on supporting our fellow Louisianans, and escape for a little while to enjoy the exhibition.
