Lucy's Retired Surfers Bar
Work on Lucy's is under way removing the façade, and a huge area in front will be converted into covered outdoor seating. The eatery's atmosphere is tropical and fun, with a menu that includes standard fare such as burgers, salads and a selection for the kids. But Lucy's also offers a doggy menu. Owners can order snacks for their pooches while dining outside, not unlike the Bulldog in Southdowns Village, another dog-friendly New Orleans transplant. Lucy's is set to open by the end of September.
