USS KIDD Veterans Memorial Museum
Veterans and community members are invited to a Memorial Day Remembrance Ceremony being sponsored by the USS KIDD Veterans Museum on May 29, 2017. The ceremony will be held in the Louisiana Memorial Plaza, located at 305 South River Road, at 10 a.m. on Monday, May 29th. This event is free and open to the public. In the event of inclement weather, the ceremony will be moved into the museum. Veterans are encouraged to wear something that represents their branch of service, such as their uniform or a small pin. Gold Star families are encouraged to bring a picture of their loved one. Memorial Day guests are encouraged to wear something patriotic to show their support.
