A MESSAGE FROM THE DDD
Downtown Distinction
denicola's & noelie harmon

The Downtown Maintenance Committee has recognized the fifth downtown business with outstanding exterior maintenance and beautification. Denicola's & Noelie Harmon, located at 1010 Nicholson Drive, was awarded the July Downtown Distinction Award for their outstanding efforts in the Small Business category.

In 2015, Denicola's moved to 1010 Nic and joined with its sister store, Noelie Harmon, to extend to shoppers a selection of locally-sourced, sustainable gift items while also servicing any furniture restoration and upholstery needs. Owners Amy Strother and Michael Gatz's goal for Denicola's is to provide each client a unique design experience combined with stellar service and the highest standard of craftmanship. Both Denicola's and Noelie Harmon feature products created with principles abiding by fair trade, equally opportunity, and social responsibility.

As a reminder, each month a downtown business or organization will be selected from a different category to highlight the variety of businesses and organizations contributing to downtown's quality of place and community pride. At the end of twelve months, citizens will vote on which of the previous award winners deserve the 'People's Choice' Award!

Congratulations to Denicola's and Noelie Harmon!! Stay tuned for August's Downtown Distinction award winner in the Parking Facility category.
