It may be hot outside, but that is no excuse not to get out and enjoy the summer. Downtown Baton Rouge has many outdoor activities to get you out of the house. Try joining the Happy's Running Club on Tuesdays and cool off with a cold brew after a 5K run or team up with the Geaux Ride crew for a Thursday night bike ride through some of the coolest parts of downtown. We also have many kid friendly activities such as playing in the North Boulevard and Repentance Park fountains and walking the downtown Levee Loop to experience the magic of the Mississippi River. See the list below for more information on these summer events and activities.
