Sunday in the Park Sunday in the Park is a series of free outdoor concerts in Lafayette Park at the Shaw Center for the Arts from 12 noon - 3 p.m. This Sunday, The Arts Council and 225 Magazine will present Greg Hayden and Vintage as part of the fall line-up for Sunday in the Park. Come and enjoy brunch and music under the oaks!

LSU vs. Auburn Gameday Shuttles The Hilton will begin selling LSU shuttle tickets ($18) for the Florida game at 10AM Thursday morning. The Sheraton will start selling tickets ($18) from their front desk at 9AM Friday morning. Both the Hilton and Sheraton shuttles will depart at 3:30PM and 5PM. Pastime will also be offering their usual shuttle service. Tickets are on a first come, first serve basis and sales start at noon Saturday. The price for a round trip ticket is $12.00.
Get your tickets early because they are selling fast! Enjoy the ease and convenience by avoiding the traffic hassles!

Galilean Nights, this Thursday and Friday at LASM The activities start Thursday, October 22, 5-8PM with Celestial Matters: A Talk with the Artist of Starry Messenger. Then, Friday at 7:00 pm in the planetarium, a special screening of Exploring the Universe: Probing the Heavens with Galileo will delight all ages. Then at 8PM, weather permitting, They'll move the party outside to the levee, where telescopes will be set up near the Riverfront Landing Dock between LASM and the USS Kidd to observe the planet Jupiter and its moons.

Downtown Wine Walk Registration will be in the Manship / Shaw Center breezeway between Stroube's and The Roux House patio at 5:30PM. Cost for the event is $10 and allows for two free two ounce wine tastings per participating venue. Featured wines will be $4 per glass at each establishment. Main Street Market The Fresh from the Market cooking show happens every Saturday inside Main Street Market. This cooking demonstration showcases local chefs and food lovers from around Louisiana. The recipes always incorporate local, seasonal ingredients found at the Red Stick Farmers Market. The show is hosted by Chef Celeste Gill and begins at 10:00 am in the North Street seating area. The Red Stick Farmers Market runs from 8AM - 12PM every Saturday.
