CATS PUBLIC HEARING ON PROPOSED ROUTE CHANGES
The Capital Area Transit System (CATS) will be holding a public hearing about the proposed changes to the existing route configuration. In addition, the proposed express shuttle service between the Baton Rouge Metro Airport and downtown will be discussed. We encourage you to attend this meeting and to voice any questions or concerns that you may have about these proposed changes. This meeting will be held on Wednesday, August 15 from 5:30-7:30 p.m.
CENTRAL BUSINESS DISTRICT SANITARY SEWER REHAB
The Baton Rouge Department of Environmental Services (DES) will begin rehabilitating the sanitary sewer system in the Central Business District Area (North Boulevard to North Street, and Lafayette Street to N. 9th Street). Construction will include point repair, remove and replace, and lining of existing sewer pipes. This is an important investment in downtown infrastructure that will allow for continued development and growth. You are invited to attend an informational open-house to be held at the DDD office on Thursday, August 16 from 4:00-6:00 p.m.
Hope you can join us at both public meetings!
