All eyes will be on the Baton Rouge Riverfront this week as the much anticipated Rotary Centennial Sculpture will be hoisted into place! The stage has been set for the 14' tall polished stainless steel spherical sculpture to go in place this Friday and Saturday.

In preparation for this historical installation, officials will close River Road at Florida Street starting this Friday 11/8 at 6AM through Saturday 11/9 at 6PM. Please use alternate routes.

This one-of-a-kind sculpture piece designed by internationally acclaimed artist Po Shu Wang has been donated to the City of Baton Rouge in celebration of the 100-Year Anniversary of the Rotary Club of Baton Rouge. Seen below at the DDD office today is artist Po Shu Wang with Rotary Centennial Chairman Beau Olinde and DDD Assistant Executive Director, Gabe Vicknair.
