Fireworks, live music, great food, and drinks will attract a large crowd into Downtown Baton Rouge this Sunday, July 4th. Here are a few tips to avoid heavy traffic, and find the best locations to view the fireworks.

Event Parking Tips

• Use exits other than Government Street to enter downtown from I-110.

• The two River Center Garages will be at capacity by 5PM. Park in the Third Street Garage by taking the Convention Street exit to enter downtown from I-110 north bound.

• On-street parking is FREE on the weekends! Many surface parking lots are also available. Look at the links below to help you navigate parking downtown.

• There are over 500 parking spots located under the interstate highways downtown.

• Can't make it to the levee steps by 9PM? Watch the fireworks from Town Square, Repentance Park, a building rooftop, or a parking garage!
