The Downtown Development District is thrilled to announce the approval of our 5-Year Strategic Plan. This strategic plan is a comprehensive guide for how the DDD will implement projects, partnerships, and programs to capitalize on opportunities that will continue transforming Downtown Baton Rouge into a thriving place to live, work, and play.

The resulting strategic plan reflects the feedback received from downtown stakeholder groups and public surveys. It was organized into four main pillars:

• Organizational Sustainability and Responsible Governance
• Building Up the Core: Planning, Projects, and Infrastructure
• Improving the Downtown Experience for All Members of our Community
• Enhancing Communications for Transparency, Brand Building, and Progress
