Fest for All 2010 A Baton Rouge tradition, this artfully fun and family friendly art festival is an exciting art buying opportunity! Celebrate the arts while shopping the original artwork of 80 local and national juried artists. The festival features an exceptional representation of fine arts and crafts, along with artist demonstrations, kid's art activities in Children's Village, live music from blues to classical, performing arts, and a variety of Louisiana cuisines. Located in downtown Baton Rouge, FestForAll is dispersed along Lafayette Park, Third Street, Galvez Plaza, and historic oak-lined North Boulevard providing one of the most beautiful settings in the South for a weekend outdoor arts celebration.

First Saturday Fun May is Garden Month at the Markets and we will kick off the festivities with special gardening activities for all ages. Kids can pick up free seed packets and participate in a gardening activity. The East Baton Rouge Master Gardeners will be on hand to answer Spring planting questions and also give tips on vegetable gardening. Red Stick's green vendors will have an excellent selection of plants and vegetable seedlings to choose from for your home garden. Be sure to bring your garden and kitchen cutlery as professional sharpener Doyle Hanson returns to the Market. Mel Chavis will also entertain shoppers with festive zydeco music! The Fresh from the Market cooking show will feature the chefs from Galatoire's Bistro using farm fresh ingredients to cook fresh and local creations. Don't miss this special first Saturday at the Market!

River Center East & West Parking Garages open Friday for LAF In response to the largest turnout ever for Live after Five last week, the River Center East & West Parking Garages (St. Louis and Government Streets) will be open for public use this Friday to accomodate concert goers. As always, the Third Street Garage will also be open for parking. We encourage you to arrive early to get a good spot and visit our Interactive Map for additional parking information.
