LOOKING BACK ON BLUES FEST WEEKEND

Downtown Baton Rouge welcomed 125k visitors throughout the Blues Festival weekend (April 19-21)! Nearly 7k festival goers kicked off the festivities on Friday with Live After Five hosting Kenny Neal & Family. Many visitors stayed at the downtown hotels and experienced the vibrancy of downtown. Live music could be heard at many bars and lounges, Manship Theatre, Raising Canes' River Center, and four stages at the Blues fest!

NATIONAL BIKE MONTH

Happy National Bike Month! There are so many fun ways to celebrate downtown and enjoy the beautiful spring weather.

Explore the Downtown Greenway or take a ride with Geaux Ride!

Geaux Ride is a local bike rental organization notoriously known for its nightly group rides as they light up the streets of downtown with light-up bicycles. Geaux Ride offers a series of activities and rides available for everyone!

ARIEL ELIAS STAND-UP COMEDY SHOW
Manship Theatre
Ariel is a well-known comedian that has been featured in Rolling Stone, the Washington Post, and on Good Morning America, performed on the set of the Marvelous Mrs. Maisel, was named a "New Face" at the 2021 Just For Laughs Comedy Festival, as well as one of the Best Comedians of 2022. The show runs from 7:30 - 9:30 p.m.

Join us for an exciting afternoon ride from downtown to Mid-City's KOK Wings & Things. Meet us on Sunday, May 5th at 12:30 p.m., with rides starting at 1 p.m. and our finale at 4 p.m. Return rides depart at 3 p.m. and 6 p.m. Tickets are $20 per person. Don't miss out!
