Juneteenth Celebration on South Boulevard
The 19th Juneteenth Roots & Heritage Festival will be presented by the Odell S. Williams Now and Then Museum of African-American History this Saturday from Noon-6PM. Bring lawn chairs and blankets and enjoy music by the Charmaine Neville Band, exhibits, food, vendors, and speakers- enriching for all. These events are in addition to the Juneteenth festivities at Galvez Plaza.

Last chance for "Pride of Place: Stories of Old South Baton Rouge"
This is the last week that the State Museum will have "Pride of Place: Stories of Old South Baton Rouge" in the Third Floor Changing Gallery. The exhibit will be ending on Sunday, June 20th. Be sure to check out this great exhibit when you are downtown for the Juneteenth Festivities! Admission if FREE!

Tonight at Boudreaux & Thibodeaux's is an all female singer-songwriter revue, art show and wine tasting featuring art by Jill Mulkey, Award-winning songwriter and performer Wendy Colonna and guest stars Mary Lasang, Alexis marceaux, Toni Otts & Ruby Rendrag. Check out these great all female artist at Boudreaux and Thibodeaux's- recently named one of the Top Ten Music Venues in BR by the Advocate along with The Manship Theatre.
