Spanish Town Mardi Gras!
Downtown Baton Rouge Mardi Gras parades will finish up this Saturday with Spanish Town.

Spanish Town- February 21, 12 noon
Spanish Town rolls out with a fleet of 70 floats. Dancing to the marching bands, hands poised for catching goodies, eclectic attire is the order of the day. Come early and bring your lawn chairs. 2009 Dignataries include King Mr. Rob Payer, Queen Ms. Margie Moore & the 2009 Grand Marshal is Mr. Jim "Batman" Spain.

Running of the Beauregard Bull!
Join us for the 2nd annual "Running of the Beauregard Bull" on Mardi Gras Day, Baton Rouge's only green, non-motorized, eco, critical-mass mardi gras affair! If you chose to walk, bring edible, plantable or recycled throws. Non-profit organization krewes encouraged to participate. Spread the word.
