'Fête Rouge: A Celebration of Food & Wine
The Baton Rouge Epicurean Society (BRES) will host a 3-day festival event in Downtown Baton Rouge called, Fête Rouge~A Louisiana Celebration of Food and Wine' featuring live entertainment, silent auction, raffle, taste fairs, cooking demonstrations and more. Huey Long Symposium
Secretary of State Jay Dardenne and the Foundation for Historical Louisiana will host the Huey Long Symposium on Aug. 28-29 at Louisiana's Old State Capitol and the Old Governor's Mansion. A series of panels, a presentation by Dr. Carl Weiss Jr. and the play Who Killed the Kingfish are on the agenda. Baton Rouge Uncorked

Toyota Farm to Table Tour
The national Toyota Farm to Table Tour makes its final stop at the Red Stick Farmers Market this Saturday! Fill up your passport and earn complimentary potted plants and culinary gifts. Toyota hybrid vehicles will also be on site for test drives. Farm fresh tastings from nine area chefs and restaurants will also be offered throughout the Market using local produce and ingredients.
