Red Stick International Animation Festival
Artists draw and paint with computers, and scientists convey their complex theories in color and motion. The Red Stick International Animation Festival highlights this convergence celebrating art, motion, and exploration in Downtown Baton Rouge. Red Stick 2010 will take place November 10-13 at the Shaw Center, LASM, and Old State Capitol.

"Music at Mid-Day" Concerts
A FREE lunchtime concert beginning at noon each Wednesday will feature local musicians, student ensembles, professional musicians and a wide variety of music from Classical to Standards, Blues, Jazz and Americana. Downtown patrons interested in attending can bring their own lunch, or contact one of the participating downtown restaurants and order from the Music @ Mid-Day lunch menu. Restaurant partners include Capital City Grill, Stroubes Chophouse, Tsunami Sushi and the Hilton Kingfish.

Casablanca at Manship Theatre
A Sunday afternoon viewing of this classic film is only $5.00 and helps the U.S.S. Kidd Foundation in the process! All ticket proceeds go to help sustain this important local museum. Before the show, at 2PM, enjoy a drink and music in a recreated "Rick's Café Americain" in the Manship Lobby, as well as ticket giveaways for the 4Troops' Concerts on November 21, 2010.

Plenty of fresh tender greens at the Market
This Saturday 's Fresh from the Market cooking show will feature BREADA's very own Local Foods Outreach Manager Betsy Fazekas. Betsy and host chef Celeste Gill will demonstrate simple seasonal recipes for the home cook using local produce found at the Farmers Market. The show starts at 10 AM in the North Street seating area of Main Street Market. After the show, stick around for the Bluegrass Jam featuring local musicians and singers showing off their talents. New seasonal produce this weekend will include Louisiana strawberries, citrus, horticultural beans and plenty of fresh tender greens.

Special presentations at LASM
Enjoy a special screening of SpacePark 360 in the Irene W. Pennington Planetarium and speak with the producers during a question-and-answer session on Thursday at 7PM and go on a virtual-reality odyssey through a fantastical world created by Academy Award-winning digital artist J-Walt during a live performance in the Irene W. Pennington Planetarium on Friday at 6PM. Both presentations are part of the sixth annual Red Stick International Animation Festival. Admission for both shows is $7 for adults, $6 for children and seniors.

Sunday in the Park
On November 14th, the Sunday in the Park Fall Season will conclude with Bobby Lonero and the New Orleans Express at a special Italian Festa addition from noon until 3:00 p.m. at Lafayette Park at the Shaw Center for the Arts. Come and celebrate exciting live music, wonderful food, face painting and balloon creations. A free bike valet will be provided by B.R.A.S.S. Area Musicians Join Cathedral Choir for "Baroque Spectacular" Concert
The Concert Series Committee of St. Joseph Cathedral invites all music lovers to a "Baroque Spectacular" at 7:30 p.m. Thursday, November 11 in the historic cathedral church at Fourth and Main Streets downtown. The concert will include performances by the St. Joseph Cathedral Schola Cantorum under the direction of Robbie Giroir, choirmaster and organist, and local musicians Brian Shaw, Paula Shaw, Borislava Iltcheva, Jim Ryon, and Jan Grimes.

Admission is free, and donations will be accepted.
