Cirque du Soleil- Allegria
A baroque ode to the energy, grace and power of youth. Alegria is a mood, a state of mind. The themes of the show, whose name means Jubilation in Spanish, are many. Power and the handing down of power over time, the evolution from ancient monarchies to modern democracies, old age, youth - it is against this backdrop that the characters of Alegria play out thier lives.

Jammin for Jammies
Boudreaux & Thibodeaux's is hosting a very special event for the patients at Our Lady of the Lake Children's Hospital. On Friday, December 23 from 9PM - 1AM they are hosting Jammin' for Jammies. In lieu of a cover, they are asking everyone to bring a brand new pair of children's pajamas for children ages 2-17. As usual, they are making a party out of it, so adults are encouraged to wear their favorite jammies to the fundraiser. Great music by Mayham Brown, great fun, great cause!

Christmas Night Show with Reception is Suspected
Imagine the swagger of Zeppelin mixed with the childlike melodies of Kraftwerk all run through a Big Muff distortion pedal and you'll start to get the picture. The sound can be described as New Order meets The Beatles or if Trent Reznor was happy. No matter how you describe it, the melodies are sticky and the beats will make you sweat.
