Bring Your Own Books!
Red Star and the Benjy Davis Project have partnered with ADVANCE Baton Rouge for a night of "Bring Your Own Books" to promote literacy in public education and encourage community partnerships in public schools.

Come and join the revolution of aligning community and education on Thursday, March 5th from 7:00pm-12:00am at the Red Star in downtown Baton Rouge. Two new or used middle school level books for our school libraries will get you in, but a partnership secures our students' futures.

Star Party on the Levee
Bring the entire family out for a night under the stars Saturday, March 7. LASM will have several telescopes set up on the Riverfront Landing Dock on the Mississippi River levee (next to LASM and the USS Kidd). Look to the stars, the planets, the moon, and more at this free event. This event will begin at 7:00 p.m. weather permitting.

Adam Dale of American Tragedy and Paul Johnson of The Prescriptions will be at The Roux House this Thursday. Doors open at 9pm and show starts at 10pm. $3 glasses of house wine and $2 coors light.
