Live After Five at AZ Young Park
Due to the construction of North Boulevard Town Square and the new permanent stage at Galvez Plaza, Live After Five will be held at the opposite end of Third Street at A.Z. Young Park (3rd Street & Spanish Town Road.) A FREE CATS SHUTTLE will loop through the Arts and Entertainment District to drop visitors near the concert site.

2011 Spring Season starts Friday from 5PM - 8PM with The Andy Smith Band.

Sunday in the Park
The 2011 Sunday in the Park free concert series promises to usher in Spring with Louisiana style. The season starts this Sunday, April 3 with Jon Cleary and continues for 6 consecutive Sunday's Downtown from noon until 3PM at Lafayette Park across from the Shaw Center for the Arts. Come and enjoy amazing live music, wonderful food, face painting and balloon creations.

BRBT 50th Anniversary Gala
Established in 1960, Baton Rouge Ballet Theatre will be taking a walk down memory lane showcasing some of the favorite pieces over the last 50 years. From Giselle to Garth Fagan, BRBT has been a leader in bringing the joy, artistry and diversity of dance to the Baton Rouge community.

Providence Corporate Cup
The Providence Corporate Cup Run/Walk includes thousands of athletes participating each year as individuals or teams on a 5k (3.1 mile) race course. Hundreds of companies throughout our community participate, and many companies have on-site tent locations for their employees, business associates, and friends. FREE food, drink, musical entertainment, and other amenities are provided to ALL participants at the post-race party. Deadline for registration is tomorrow March 31.

The Baton Rouge Arts Market

This week at the Market
The Red Stick Farmers Market held from 8AM -12PM every Saturday at Fifth and Main Streets will be filled with fresh produce, live music, and fun for everyone on this first Saturday in April. Spring vegetables, plants, farm fresh eggs, grass-fed meats, Louisiana seafood, artisan breads and cheeses can be found at the Market this Saturday. The East Baton Rouge Master Gardeners will be on hand with tips for Spring gardeners. Mel Chavis will be playing zydeco music outside while the Lagniappe Dulcimers entertain shoppers inside Main Street Market. The Fresh from the Market cooking demonstration will feature Chef Michael Loupe from the Kingfish Restaurant located inside the Hilton Capitol Center. The cooking demonstration begins at 10 AM inside the North Street seating area of Main Street Market.
