1st Annual Downtown Spring Art Walk this Saturday

Downtown Businesses join in on the FestforAll fun

Date: Saturday, April 30, 2011
Time: 3:00p.m. - 8:00p.m.
Location: Downtown Arts and Entertainment District


A number of Downtown galleries and businesses will be hosting art showings featuring work from some of the areas's finest artists for a festive Downtown art event this Saturday, April 30 from 3pm - 8pm. The Downtown Spring Art Walk, held during FestForAll - Art and Music Festival, is a great opportunity for the community to shop for original works of art while enjoying a great time in Downtown Baton Rouge. With over 25,000 people expected to attend FestForAll, this will be an excellent opportunity for Downtown businesses to showcase their goods and services, and for the public to enjoy great art in a family friendly environment!

With exciting offerings of original works of art, purchases within the Baton Rouge Arts and Entertainment Cultural District are sales tax free.

The Downtown Spring Art Walk will be held in conjunction with FestForAll - Art and Music Festival: April 30 - May 1, 2011. FestForAll is a Baton Rouge tradition, this artfully fun and family friendly art festival is an exciting art buying opportunity! Celebrate the arts while shopping the original artwork of over 90 local and national juried artists. The festival features exceptional fine arts and crafts, along with kid's art activities in Children's Village, live music from blues to classical, and a variety of Louisiana cuisines.
