Live After Five and The Red Stick Rally present Brandon Giles
Live After Five in Downtown Baton Rouge is the capital city's premier FREE live music event, hosted by the Downtown Business Association. The fall season of Live After Five concludes this Friday with Brandon Giles. It will be held in conjunction with the Red Stick Rally at a new location on River Road at the USS KIDD. Brandon Giles consistently gives an audience a sweat-infused, five-minute hard rock/boogie piano solo with the intensity of a wild man. Then after that, plays a heart-felt rendition of a beautiful country standard.

Sunday in the Park presents Nathan & The Zydeco Cha Cha's
The 2011 FREE Fall Concert continues on Sunday and extends through November 6th from noon until 3PM in historic Lafayette Park across from the Shaw Center for the Arts. Come and enjoy amazing live music, wonderful food, face painting and balloon creations. Sunday in the Park is a fall and spring series of free outdoor concerts in collaboration with the Arts Council of Greater Baton Rouge and 225 Magazine.

Red Stick Rally Bike Show & Music Festival
Get ready for the most rockin' motorcycle rally in the Southern US! In the heart of downtown, come party on the Mississippi River southern style. The beer will be flowing, and the bands will be playing. Get ready for the most insane costume contest ever (riders and bikes)!

Baton Rouge Halloween Parade
Baton Rouge Halloween Parade will have it's inaugural run on Saturday. The 2011 parade theme will be First Fright: Something Wicked This Way Comes. This is the only parade in which spectators will be able to give back to the parade. The Greater Baton Rouge Food Bank will have one of their trucks as the first unit in the parade. They will have a team of volunteers walking around the truck to collect non-perishable food donations from the crowd. Please join them as they harvest the resources of Baton Rouge for those less fortunate. View the route...

Get a taste of Abita's newest adventure, The Abita Grub Crawl. Meet at a popular restaurant to enjoy a sampling of specially prepared food and Abita brews. Then the party strolls to the next nearby spot (and the next!) for more food, brews and fun. It's a whole new way to meet & eat with Abita. The Baton Rouge Grub Crawl will be on Saturday starting at 4PM at Tsunami. This event will be limited to the first 125 people that pre-register and pay online.

Pumpkin Party at the Market
Celebrate the fall harvest and all things pumpkin this Saturday at the Red Stick Farmers Market. Children will enjoy kid friendly activities throughout the morning including face painting by Liz Lopes and pumpkin art activities. Chef Celeste Gill will prepare pumpkin soup during the Fresh from the Market cooking demonstration and explain how to roast pumpkin seeds. The cooking show begins at 10AM in the North Street seating area of Main Street Market. The Red Stick Farmers Market takes place every Saturday from 8AM-12PM at Fifth and Main Streets.

Louisiana State Museum Fall Lecture Series
Lunchtime Lagniappe, a weekly series of lively presentations on local history, is returning to the Capitol Park Museum. The free, hour long program is designed for downtown workers and is held at noon each Wednesday in October. Attendees are encouraged to bring their own lunch and may come and go as their schedules require. The Louisiana State Museum friends make refreshments available for a small donation.
