Construction Kick Off for the Hampton Inn & Suites

The construction kick-off on the Hampton Inn & Suites located on the corner of Lafayette and Main will be held on Wednesday, November 30th at 10:00AM. All are invited to attend. This 137 room 7 story Hampton Inn will open a tremendous infusion of economic activity in the downtown area. The addition of 137 rooms to downtown will also make the area even more attractive to conventions and large events as downtown's hotel capacity will reach over 800 total rooms within walking distance to the River Center. Developer Windsor/Aughtry said the "upscale, urban" look of the Hampton Inn Hotel "fits in perfectly with the contemporary look and feel of Downtown Baton Rouge."
