Rock Legend Gregg Allman

Red Stick Farmers Market
The downtown Red Stick Farmers Market returns this Saturday with an amazing selection of seasonal winter fruits and vegetables including strawberries, citrus, root vegetables, tender greens, broccoli, cabbage and Brussels sprouts. Prepare a pot of vegetable soup for the football game or pick up sausage, shrimp, cheeses, tortes, and breads for easy entertaining. The Fresh from the Market cooking demonstration will feature Chef Celeste preparing tiger bait appetizers to entertain for the big game. The cooking demonstration begins at 10 am in the North Street seating area of Main Street Market. The Red Stick Farmers Market takes place every Saturday from 8AM-12PM on the corner of Fifth and Main Streets.

Eric J. Brown: Text & Context
An exhibition of the works of artist Eric J. Brown titled "Text & Context" is on display at the Shaw Center for the Arts and runs through January 23. Through brilliant abstract paintings, scrolls in vessels and two-dimensional sculptures, Brown explores a language by which all in existence relate.
