Saturday at Main Street Market
Enjoy a crepe, quiche, breakfast pizza, muffin, cinnamon roll or a traditional full breakfast this Saturday inside Main Street Market while listening to tunes by the Lagniappe Dulcimer Society. Each of the cafes inside the Market offer a unique approach to breakfast, brunch and lunch options for market shoppers. At 10AM, young chefs from the Louisiana Culinary Institute will offer suggestions for cooking with fresh, local ingredients in the weekly Fresh from the Market cooking demonstration. The demonstration is held in the North Street seating area of Main Street Market. Red Stick farmers will also be on hand with a great variety of winter fruits, vegetables, meats, dairy, baked goods, honey, plants and prepared foods. The Red Stick Farmers Market takes place every Saturday from 8AM-12PM on the corner of Fifth and Main Streets.
