Brooks National Tour Bus visits Happy's Running Club in North Boulevard Town Square
Get ready for what could be the biggest Tuesday in Happy's Running Club history. The Brooks Running National Tour Bus will be parked out at North Boulevard Town Square giving out postcards that can be redeemed for discounts and spinning tunes with a live DJ. Everyone who attends will get a discount from Varsity Sports for Brooks gear to be redeemed at Varsity Sports. To feed your appetite and replenish your flluids, the will be serving FREE Jimmy John's subs and Powerade drinks. If you haven't tried Happy's Running Club yet then this is an event you don't want to miss and a great opportunity to try it out!

Opera Everywhere in the Square

Yoga in the Square
Karmady Yoga, a new downtown business, would like to introduce themselves to the downtown community by offering free yoga classes in the new North Boulevard Town Square! Whether you are interested in flexibility, strength, stress reduction or balance, this class will help you learn in a non-threatening way. You will experience a gentle, slow approach to postures, allowing you to experience each pose. The session will close with an emphasis placed on relaxation and allowing a restoration of the body and mind. The classes will be held on Sunday and on Tuesday before the Happy's Running Club gets going, so come out and stretch away some stress in the square!

Second Saturdays at LSU MOA
How good is your memory? Can you remember which side it's on? How many there are? How big it is? Test your memory throughout the galleries and don't let it drive you mad. Bring a "take-and-make" bag home to create your own artwork inspired by your museum visit. Children must be accompanied by an adult. Supplies are available on a first-come, first-served basis. Lunchtime Lagniappe
Lunchtime Lagniappe, a weekly series of lively presentations on local history will run at the Capitol Park Museum on March 7, 14, 21 and 28. Designed for downtown workers on a break, the free hour long programs are held at noon each Wednesday. Attendees are encouraged to bring their lunch and may come and go as their schedules require. The Capitol Park Museum friends make refreshments available for a small donation.

Saturday at the Market
Look for an abundance of Louisiana strawberries, leafy greens, root veggies and more this Saturday at the Red Stick Farmers Market. Student chefs from the Louisiana Culinary Institute will feature seasonal ingredients in the Fresh from the Market cooking demonstration inside Main Street Market. Grab a hot breakfast, watch the demo and sample the chefs' creation during the 10 am cooking show. The Red Stick Farmers Market takes place every Saturday from 8AM-12PM on the corner of Fifth and Main Streets.
