Bayou Bicentennial Birthday Bash
The Louisiana Music Hall of Fame presents the Bayou Bicentennial Birthday Bash being held in the parking lot of Hollywood Casino, celebrating Louisiana's Bicentennial. The show features over two dozen artists, free cake, ice cream and Coca Cola with six hours of Louisiana music.

Bicentennial Family Homecoming
The Bicentennial Family Homecoming, sponsored by the Louisiana Bicentennial Commission, will be held at Capitol Park. The main stage will feature entertainment all day and pavilions representing different regions of the state will be set up in Capitol Park, highlighting their food, music and artisans.

The Baton Rouge Blues Week - Bicentennial Blues Concert, at the Old State Capitol will feature Luther Kent Trick Bag Big Band with Chris LeBlanc, and special guest Tyree Neal band, plus Mr. Hinson & the Blisters.

Live After Five presents: Bag of Donuts
Live after five kicks off the music filled weekend with Bag of Donuts. The band covers a wide variety of music from the 1960's through today's top of the pop charts, including TV shows, commercials and movies. They are a New Orleans based quartet known for their wild stage antics, outlandish costumes and strange renditions of popular songs.

Sunday in the Park
Sunday in the Park presents After8, an 8-piece band packing a powerful 3-piece horn section (trumpet, saxophone, and trombone), and a groove that is sure to keep you moving all day long. After 8 covers a wide variety of music, from the 1950s to today's hot hits, while adding a touch of New Orleans-style funk to a high energy show. Sunday in the Park is presented by the Arts Council of Greater Baton Rouge.
