FestForAll
The Arts Council of Greater Baton Rouge presents FestForAll - Baton Rouge's premier art & music festival. Join them for a full weekend of art and entertainment along North Boulevard in downtown's new Town Square, on the grounds of the Old State Capitol and the Shaw Center for the Arts. FestForAll is a showcase for all the great things that are going on in Baton Rouge. It is a chance for families to come downtown and eat, play, dance and shop. Children and adults can experience visual arts, music, and dance in a wonderful festival atmosphere. FestForAll celebrates the creative energy of our great community. This event is FREE and open to everyone.

Live After Five presents: Pine Leaf Boys
Live After Five in Downtown Baton Rouge is the capital city's premier FREE live music event, hosted by the Downtown Business Association. The four-time Grammy-Nominated, world-renown Pine Leaf Boys have made a name for presenting their own inimitable brand of Cajun music with youthful exuberance. Hailing from the southwest Louisiana, the Pine Leaf Boys, known for their wild shows and thoughtful arrangements, have breathed new life into Cajun music, reviving ancient songs and bringing them to the bandstand. The variety and energy they release evolves through their shows, bringing multi-faceted angles to Cajun, Creole, and Zydeco.

Sunday in the Park
Sunday in the Park presents Jeffrey Broussard and The Creole Cowboys with a special FestForAll performance. Jeffery Broussard & The Creole Cowboys features the accordion mastery and soulful vocals of front man Jeffery Broussard. The band delivers great pack-the-floor renditions of Creole classics as well as their own brand of contemporary zydeco. The band is taking the next generation's perspective of this music and presenting it with contemporary flair and expertise. They create incredible music and outstanding performances, cultivating and inspiring new generations of Creole zydeco fans.

Soul Salvation: Paul Thorn & Ruthie Foster
Touring together for the first time, Ruthie and Paul Thorn blend blues, rock, gospel, folk, R&B and country music for what promises to be a memorable show. Contemporary Blues Female Artist of the Year, Ruthie Foster was just nominated for three 2012 Blues Music Awards. Born in Tupelo, Mississippi, Thorn has jumped out of airplanes, battled four-time world champion boxer Roberto Durán on national television, opened for Bonnie Raitt, Mark Knopfler, and John Prine among many other headliners, and made some of the most emotionally restless yet fully accessible music of our time.

Red Stick Roller Derby
Red Stick Roller Derby double header night- Cinco de Cry-O. The first bought begins at 6PM- Diables Rouges vs. Tragic City All Stars. Second bought- Capital Defenders vs. Tragic City Plan B. Red Stick Roller Derby (RSRD) is an all-female, full contact, flat track roller derby league committed to the betterment of the physical and mental strength of its members through fostering the amateur sport of roller derby. Skaters are females aged eighteen or over who exhibit exceptional athleticism, leadership, and sportsmanlike conduct both on and off the track.

All City Teen Poetry Slam
Forward Arts Inc. and BREC presents the sixth annual WordPlay ALL CITY Grand Slam Finals, showcasing the top ranked teen poetry slam teams and individual teen poets in the city. The featured poet for Grand Slam Finals, George Yamazawa, is a two-time regional poetry slam champion and two-time international poetry slam finalist.

Red Stick Farmer's Market
The Market is full of spring produce and shoppers will find blueberries, strawberries, tomatoes, summer squash, zucchini, cucumbers, new potatoes and more! Don't miss the Fresh from the Market cooking demonstration at 10AM inside Main Street Market as Chef Nathan Gresham of Beausoleil Restaurant and Bar prepares a delicious fresh and local dish.
