Baton Rouge Greek Festival
OPA! The Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church of Baton Rouge wants you to join them in a celebration of Greek culture, entertainment and cuisine at the Inaugural Baton Rouge Greek Festival. This spectacular Greek Festival will be a wonderful family event produced by key members of the Greek Community and Greek Orthodox Church. Guests will dine on exceptional Greek food using authentic Greek recipes. Greek musicians will provide live entertainment and visitors will learn traditional and modern Greek dances. Mayor Kip Holden and the EBR Parish Metro Council will be honored as "Greeks for a Day".

Sunday in the Park
Spring Season Finale
Sunday in the Park presents The 484 South Band ringing their style of Southern Rock & Roots music. The 484 South Band began in 2005 when Keith Schultz and Twain Pigott began playing cover songs in local venues around the Baton Rouge area. Two years later the full band was created and began writing the original songs that would launch them into the world of indie Southern Rock. With chords of Blues, Southern Rock, Alt-Country, Americana and anything left on the table from breakfast or in the bottle from last night, the band has continued to write songs from their experiences and their hearts.

BR Uncorked Presents its Spring Tasting
Hosted by The Foundation for Historical Louisiana, all proceeds will go to Inherit Baton Rouge and the National Kidney Foundation of Louisiana. The Foundation for Historical Louisiana is Baton Rouge's premiere historic preservation organization committed to the safeguarding of our state's cultural and architectural heritage for generations to come. The Foundation, a member-based group, is also a Local Partner of the National Trust for Historic Preservation.

Nine bands will perform original songs as well as popular cover songs from the 1970's to the present day. This is a real rock concert that music lovers of all ages will enjoy! Second Saturday / May Flowers
They say that April showers bring May flowers. Can you find them throughout the galleries? In landscapes, in hats, carved and painted, you'll have to hunt high and low for these beautiful blooms. "Take and Make" bags are provided so you can make your own work of art at home. All children must be accompanied by their favorite fun-loving adult and the "Take-and-Make" goodies are available on a first-come, first-served basis.

The Floating World Family Day
The entire family will enjoy learning more about Japanese history and culture! View the exhibition The Floating World: Ukiyo-e Prints from the Lauren Rogers Museum of Art and participate in engaging art and science activities and special programs, including relief printmaking and fan decoration. Fitness in the Square

Zumba - YMCA Spring Outdoor Fitness Series, a Latin inspired dance fitness class that incorporates Latin and International music and dance movements is exercise in disguise. Zumba's spring series will end on May 14 returning in the fall. Karmady Yoga, a new downtown business, will continue their free yoga classes in the new North Boulevard Town Square. Whether you are interested in flexibility, strength, stress reduction or balance, this class will help you learn in a non-threatening way.
