2012 Festival of Lights
Baton Rouge's oldest holiday tradition is here! The 2012 Festival of Lights will be held Friday, November 30th in North Boulevard Town Square. Enjoy holiday music in Town Square through the 1st of the year. Click the icon for a schedule of events.

2012 Reindeer Run
Forum 35's 2012 Reindeer Run 5k and Jingle Bell Jog 1 mile fun run will take place at 7PM Friday, November 30th in Downtown Baton Rouge. Both runs will start and finish City Plaza at the corner of 4th St. and North Blvd. Reindeer Run is held in conjunction with the Downtown Festival of Lights featuring Santa Claus, music, fireworks, free outdoor ice skating, and much more. Bring your family out for the run and the holiday fun!

The Recreation and Park Commission of East Baton Rouge Parish will celebrate the Grand Opening of Convention Street Park on Wednesday, December 12, from 11AM to Noon at 717 Convention Street in downtown Baton Rouge. The public is welcome and encouraged to attend. In partnership with the Downtown Development District and the Baton Rouge Walls Project, Convention Street Park is part of the Seventh Street Corridor which emerged from the Plan Baton Rouge initiative as the ideal pedestrian corridor connecting the hearts of the Spanish Town and Beauregard Town neighborhoods.
