Third Street Film Festival
This year's festival will consist of four different showcasings of Louisiana independent films. Each showcase will include one feature film and around forty-five minutes of short films. Q&A panels and speakers will also be integrated into each screening showcase. The panels, speakers, and films will take place inside the Manship Theatre. There will be two showcases on Friday, December 28th and two on Saturday, December 29th. Each showcase will last approximately three hours each, with a twenty-five minute break in between the short films and the feature film.

Zydeco Blues Bash
The 6th Annual Zydeco Blues Bash will feature five continuous hours of the best Blues and Zydeco on the Gulf Coast. Tickets can be purchased at the River Center Box Office and Ticketmaster outlets.

Miss Trudy's Traveling Trunk Show
Kids will be eager to join Miss Trudy every Saturday for stories, songs, and games sprinkled with humor and fun! They'll meet her special puppet friends, Sheldon the Sheepdog and Frederick the Mouse while learning about the seasons of the year and discovering the surprises found in Miss Trudy's Trunk. This program is FREE for LASM members and is included in the price of a general admission ticket for non-members.

Na Na Sha at the Belle
The FREE Belle of Baton Rouge Concert Series continues this week with the legendary band Na Na Sha! Na Na Sha will have you singing and dancing to the best songs of the 50's, 60's, and 70's! Free Concert Fridays at the Belle has some of Louisiana's hottest Hall of Fame acts in the Atrium.

Chris plays original music and covers ranging from The Beatles and Creedance Clearwater Revival to Robert Johnson and Muddy Waters.

Ice Skating at the River Center
Multiple skating sessions will be available every day and each session is 90 minutes. Skating tickets are only $12 and are on sale now! Price includes admission to one skating session, skate rental, a small candy, and small coke.

The Red Stick Farmers Market will be open Saturday December 29th with fresh, local ingredients for all your New Year's holiday meals and bowl game festivities. There will be plenty of traditional holiday ingredients including seafood, cabbage and winter greens to highlight New Year's menus.
