Mayor Holden's Inauguration
Mayor-President Melvin L. "Kip" Holden will be officially sworn in to his third term of office on Friday, January 4th with inaugural activities that include an interfaith service, an inaugural ceremony, and an evening reception. All events are open to the public.

Trains, Planes, and Automobiles at LSUMOA
The LSU Museum of Art sets you on the fast track to nostalgia with our holiday exhibition, Trains, Planes and Automobiles. This remarkable display of vintage and antique toys and fine art has all the bells and whistles, including a 1930s Lionel train set and a miniature model of a double-decker bus. Put the pedal to the metal and speed on over for a fanciful display of toys and art. Trains, Planes and Automobiles will run through January 20th.
