Downtown Greenway Charrette
The Downtown Greenway will create a pedestrian and bicycle corridor that links inner city residential neighborhoods, parks, businesses, and cultural attractions utilizing the existing interstate infrastructure. Stakeholder charrettes and public meetings will be held on March 5, 6, and 7 in order to ensure a collaborative, community-driven design. Kids' Lab: Creating Fun with Chemistry
Explore the dynamic world of chemistry in hands-on Kids' Lab workshops for children ages 6-12 and a parent or caregiver. Participants may sign up on a first come, first served basis on the day of each program. Members may also pre-register by noon Thursday prior to the weekend program, and groups may schedule in advance.

Strawberries at the Market
As spring approaches, the sweet Louisiana strawberry season grows each week. Look for plenty of berries this weekend along with late winter produce. Saturday's Fresh from the Market cooking demonstration will feature Chef Troy Deano, Chef de Cuisine at 18 Steak, located inside L'Auberge Casino. The cooking demonstration begins at 10AM inside the North Street seating area of Main Street Market.
