Live After Five
Known as the Capital City's premier seasonal live music event series. Each spring visitors and locals take in the sights and sounds as musicians come together to perform a FREE concert in downtown Baton Rouge's newly opened Repentance Park. The Phunky Monkeys will kick of this season's Live After Five series in the newly opened Repentance Park.

River Center Library at Town Square
The River Center Branch Library will be hosting an open house-style design update at the Louisiana Art and Science Museum. Stations will illustrate and detail the progress of the design process, from pre-design through the official building program phase, up to schematic design. Light refreshments will be served.

Repentance Park is Now Open
Come out and enjoy the newly opened Repentance Park. This passive 2.5 acre park offers a great place to picnic or interact with the sloping landforms and over 750 fountain jets. Also newly introduced in Repentance Park, Galvez Plaza, and Town Lawn are the toy boxes filled with various sport balls and Frisbees for anyone to use!

Zumba in Town Square
Back by popular demand the Zumba - YMCA Spring Outdoor Fitness Series returned yesterday at 5PM in Town Square. Start your week off right with this exciting class available for FREE. Zumba is a Latin inspired dance fitness class that incorporates Latin and International music and dance movements. Whether you are interested in flexibility, strength, stress reduction or balance, this class will help you learn in a non-threatening way.

The Arts Council of Greater Baton Rouge announces the return of its Sunday in the Park concert series which takes place on Sundays from noon to 3PM in North Boulevard Town Square. The FREE concerts run for 8 weeks through April and May. Appearing this Sunday will be funk artist Space Capone during FestForAll.

Red Stick Farmer's Market
Spring is making its way to the Market with new veggies including tender fava beans and English cucumbers! You can also find plenty of spring vegetable and herb seedlings and pick up tips from the Master Gardeners for planting spring gardens. Main Street Market welcomes Chef Nathan Gresham of Beausoleil Restaurant and Bar to the Fresh from the Market cooking demonstration to show shoppers how to incorporate fresh produce into spring menus. The cooking demo begins at 10AM in the North Street seating area of Main Street Market. .
