After 8 at Live After Five
The Capital City's premier live music event continues this Friday. This season is being held in the newly opened Repentance Park. After 8 will be playing a powerhouse of your favorites at this week's event!

Sunday in the Park
The Arts Council of Greater Baton Rouge hosts Sunday in the Park concert series which takes place on Sundays from noon to 3PM in North Boulevard Town Square. The FREE concerts will run through April and May. This Sunday will feature local variety band Phunky Monkeys.

Latimore at the Belle
The FREE Belle of Baton Rouge Concert Series continues this week with R & B artist, Latimore. Free Concert Fridays at the Belle has some of Louisiana's hottest Hall of Fame acts in the Atrium. The show begins immediately following the Live After Five Concerts.

March for Babies
It's America's favorite walking event! When you walk, you give hope to the babies born too soon or sick. The money you raise supports programs in your community that help moms have healthy, full-term pregnancies, and it funds research to find answers to the serious problems that threaten our babies. There are plenty of opportunities for day-of-event exposure, activation and education - not to mention opportunities to meet hundreds of others who are just like you!

Of Moving Colors at the Manship
Local dance company Of Moving Colors Productions closes out their 26th season with "P.S.425", a contemporary dance performance in collaboration with the LSU College of Art and Design and artist Peter Shire. Dancers will perform using a custom interactive set piece designed by Shire, a world renowned sculpture and designer.

Creating Fun with Chemistry at LASM
Explore the dynamic world of chemistry in hands-on Kids' Lab workshops for children ages 6-12 and a parent or caregiver. Kids' Lab is free for LASM members and included in the price of general admission for non-members. Participants may sign up on a first come, first served basis on the day of each program. One adult caregiver is required for every four children, and participants must sign in at least twenty minutes before the workshop.

Spring at the Market
Begin your weekend with a hot breakfast and browse the specialty shops inside Main Street Market. Beginning at 10AM, Chef Jimmy Le will showcase fresh produce and meats from the Red Stick Farmers Market in recipes for spring. Local farmers will bring new spring crops this Saturday including blueberries, fava beans, artichokes, zucchini, squash and asparagus. There will also be plenty of strawberries!
