This scenic run through downtown Baton Rouge promotes the independence that individuals with disabilities gain through the use of Assistive Technology that is provided by LATAN, the only statewide non-profit that provides this service. Event dovetails into the 2nd Annual Greek Festival. $20 early registration includes voucher to Festival food.

Gregory Grandy, environmental manager, landscape architect, and volunteer environmental educator, is passionate about Louisiana's landscape, particularly preserving its coast. Grandy's lifework is dedicated to preserving Louisiana's coastline. Calandro's Fine Wines and Select Cellars will host refreshments at 6PM and the lecture begins at 6:30 p.m.

Sushi Class at Tsunami's
Learn how to make some of your favorite sushi rolls from the Tsunami chefs. Mother's Day Gifts at the Market
In celebration of Garden Month, Elizabeth Holloway will explain why honey bees are so important to farmers and home gardeners at the Fresh from the Market cooking show while M'Lou Barry and host chef Celeste Gill will demonstrate ways to add honey to menu planning for spring. Red Stick Farmers Market will also feature a variety of ideas for Mother's Day gift items including farm grown cut flowers, vegetable garden and landscaping plants, and gift baskets of Louisiana strawberries and blueberries. Pies, cakes and homemade breads will be available to add to Mother's Day luncheon menus as well. Families will enjoy Saturday morning at the downtown Farmers Market where Liz Lopes will be on hand for children's face painting.
