McMain's 5K Run, Walk and Roll
Lace up those running shoes and join us for the third annual Run, Walk, & Roll on June 1, 2013. This annual event is open to the public with all levels of ability. McMain's welcomes you to Run, Walk or Roll in your chair. The event will feature a kids fun run at 8AM and the main event will be at 8:30AM.

WHYR Radiopalooza
Radiopalooza is WHYR's annual festival fundraiser. Currently, every bit of work that goes into keeping WHYR on the air is done by volunteers-that's tens of thousands of volunteer hours each year. Festival admission is FREE but WHYR will be selling merchandise and accepting donations to help us reach their minimum annual fundraising goal of $30,000, which covers basic station operation costs. Town Square will be rocking with music, food, and fun!

Baton Rouge Arts Market
The Baton Rouge Arts Market takes place every first Saturday of the month from 8:00AM until 12:00PM at 5th and Main Streets in Downtown Baton Rouge. Featuring artists from Louisiana, Mississippi, Texas and Florida who will present original works of art in a variety of mediums including, pottery, jewelry, woodwork, textiles, photographs, glass, paintings, sculpture, hand-made soaps and so much more. The Arts Market regularly features free children's art activities at the Arts Market's Kids Booth. The Baton Rouge Arts Market is held in conjunction with the weekly Red Stick Farmers Market and the Main Street Market.

Have you ever wondered how paper is made? Explore the interesting art of paper making in this month's special Viewing and Doing Art! class, in which you can create your very own paper! Participation is offered on a first come, first served basis, with sign-in beginning at 10AM on June 1. This program is recommended for families with children ages six through twelve, is included with general admission, and one guardian per two children is required.
