Live After Five in Downtown Baton Rouge is the capital city's premier FREE live music event, hosted by the Downtown Business Association. Rusty Yates performs for college night. Show your student I.D. for 1/2 off beer!

Bring the family downtown this Saturday for local food, art and fun! This First Saturday will include the East Baton Rouge Master Gardeners, the Baton Rouge Arts Market and face painting. The Junior League will be sampling recipes from their River Road cookbooks outside at the Red Stick Farmers Market. Enjoy breakfast from one of the cafes inside Main Street Market and stuck around for the Fresh from the Market cooking demonstration at 10AM Chef Brian Andries from Stroube's Restaurant will be the featured chef joining Chef Celeste Gill to highlight fall recipes.
