Historic Highland Cemetery Talk
Capitol Park Museum will be hosting a meeting with Kenny Kleinpeter, the appointed sexton for Highland Cemetery. Kleinpeter has spent more than 15 years researching and preserving the history of Highland Cemetery and is a ninth-generation member of the Kleinpeter family, one of the founding families of Baton Rouge. Retired from Kleinpeter Dairy, Kenny has dedicated his life to restoring and preserving this area's oldest cemeteries.
