Zumba in Town Square
Downtown Development District is again partnering with the YMCA to bring free outdoor health classes to downtown. Downtown's North Boulevard Town Square is now a hub for physical outdoor activity. The YMCA kicked off their FREE Spring Zumba series on April 2nd. Zumba classes are held on Tuesdays & Thursdays at 5PM.

Jonathan Boogie Long at Live After Five
Live after Five in Downtown Baton Rouge is the Capital City's premier FREE outdoor concert series. Produced by the Downtown Business Association, Live After Five Concerts are held on Fridays from 5PM-8PM in North Boulevard Town Square under the award winning Crest sculpture. Make sure to check out the LINE-UP because you aren't going to want to miss a show!

Baton Rouge Blues Festival
Free and open to the public, the 2014 Baton Rouge Blues Festival will be held on April 12 from 11AM to 9:30PM in downtown Baton Rouge. Building on the success of the 2013 festival, the Baton Rouge Blues Foundation is pleased to announce the addition of a third stage to the 20th annual Baton Rouge Blues Festival lineup. Come and check out one of the Baton Rouge's coolest festivals!
