Mojeaux at Live After Five
Live after Five in Downtown Baton Rouge is the Capital City's premier FREE outdoor concert series. Live After Five Concerts are held on Fridays from 5PM-8PM in North Boulevard Town Square under the award winning Crest sculpture. Kidd Keynotes: Sexual Assault Awareness
The USS KIDD Veterans Memorial & Museum will be hosting a free KIDD Keynotes: Sexual Assault Awareness Month discussion and documentary presentation on Friday, April 18th, from 1PM - 3PM in the museum theatre. The USS KIDD is partnering with the local non-profit, STAR (Sexual Trauma Awareness and Response Center), this month to help educate the public on sexual assault.

First United Methodist will conduct their annual Sunrise Ceremony in the Town Lawn on Easter Sunday. Following the sunrise service an Easter breakfast will be served in the gymnasium at First United Methodist Church, located at 930 North Blvd. Event is FREE and open to the public.

Easter at the Market
Catch the Easter bunny hopping through the Red Stick Farmers Market this Saturday from 9AM to 10AM. Kids can also enjoy complimentary face painting provided by the Market. At 10AM, chefs from the Louisiana Culinary Institute will feature recipes for Easter menus during the Fresh from the Market cooking demonstration inside Main Street Market. Farmers and food artisans will have Louisiana seafood, artisan breads and specialty cakes for sale throughout the morning.

Triumph Kitchen
Triumph Kitchen is a non-profit education venue serving as a training facility for at risk youth in learning culinary, hospitality and life-skills to build successful futures. Upon completion of the 12-week program, students receive job placement assistance and mentoring through the interview process while career goal planning. Serving kolaches and coffee. Donations are appreciated.
