Marcia Ball at Live After Five
Live after Five in Downtown Baton Rouge is the Capital City's premier FREE outdoor concert series. Live After Five Concerts are held on Fridays from 5PM-8PM in North Boulevard Town Square under the award winning Crest sculpture. Make sure to check out the LINE-UP because you aren't going to want to miss a show!

Corporate Cup 5K
The Providence Corporate Cup Run/Walk includes thousands of people participating each year as company teams or individuals on a 5k (3.1 mile) race course. FREE food, drink, musical entertainment, and other amenities are provided to all participants at the post-race party.

Mayor's Family Bike Day
Mayor-President Melvin L. "Kip" Holden and his wife Lois will celebrate the Mayor's Annual Family Bike Day on Sunday, April 27, by leading a bike ride in conjunction with the downtown Earth Day celebration. Riders can start registering for the bike ride at noon on 4th Street between North Boulevard and Convention Street. The ride is slated to begin at 12:30 p.m., and will travel down Convention, go north on 3rd Street to the State Library, and back down Lafayette and Convention to the starting point.
