#MovieNightBR in the Square
The DDD, Arts Council, and 225 Magazine are bringing you an outdoor movie night, #MovieNightBR! North Boulevard Town Square's (Galvez Plaza) is offering a FREE showing of Talladega Nights: The Ballad of Ricky Bobby under the giant CREST sculpture. The movie will begin promptly at 8:30PM. This fun event is "picnic style" and B.Y.O.B. We encourage you to order food to-go from your downtown restaurant of choice, bring chairs or a blanket, and pack a cooler with your favorite beverages!

Everything Eggplant
Fresh Fest continues this week as the Markets celebrate the many varieties of eggplant. Grab a hot breakfast inside Main Street Market and stick around to pick up tips for cooking during the Fresh from the Market cooking demonstration with chef Wesley Turnage of Our Lady of the Lake Hospital. First Saturday means the East Baton Rouge Master Gardeners will be on hand with advice for summer gardening.

The Baton Rouge Arts Market showcases original, hand-made works every first Saturday of the month from 8:00AM until 12:00 noon at 5th and Main Streets. Shop for the spring season with over 60 artists from the Gulf region who will present original works of art in a variety of mediums including, pottery, jewelry, woodwork, textiles, photographs, glass, paintings, sculpture, hand-made soaps and so much more.
