Live After Five continues this week with AM/FM and Werewolf! Come down to the Crest at North Boulevard Town Square this Friday afternoon. Invite the friends and family to enjoy good food, live music, beverages, and a spectacular performance!

The LSU Game Day / CATS Touchdown Express has four downtown pick-up locations. For only $10 per game, the Touchdown Express offers a safe, easy and convenient to and from solution for tiger fans to commute to the game.

Another great mode of transportation to the game is by bike. Fans can travel to the game by biking the 2.5 miles from downtown on the lighted Mississippi Levee Path.

Kenny Garrett Quintet
The Arts Council of Greater Baton Rouge is filling the Capital with amazing world-class jazz experiences. The four-concert River City Jazz Masters series at the Manship Theatre will be joined by the return of our Jazz Listening Room for a total of eight upcoming music events in 2014-15. This week the Kenny Garrett Quintet will be performing for the River City Jazz Masters series.

Sprouts Saturday at the Market
It's Sprouts Saturday at the Market this week! The East Baton Rouge 4-H will lead special gardening activities for kids from 9 to 11AM at the Sprouts tent. The Fresh from the Market cooking demonstration will be especially geared for kids this weekend with chef Pat Mahon of Episcopal High School as guest chef. Kids can also enjoy face painting provided by the Market from 9 to 11 AM. Farmers will have plenty of farm fresh veggies on hand along with ready to serve appetizers for the game.

Zombie Night Downtown!
The Capital Region Planning Commission (CRPC) is teaming up with local non-profit dance company, Of Moving Colors, for its fifth annual Zombie Bash on Friday, October 3rd with a bicycle ride for all ages to promote safety at night. Bicyclists are encouraged to join the fun by wearing costumes, lighting their bikes and joining the after party which includes a moonlight performance of Michael Jackson's "Thriller" dance. Of Moving Colors provides free lessons to learn the dance in advance. The 10/31 Consortium will also be hosting a Zombie Pub Crawl starting at the Bald Eagle Pub after the Bash! Prizes will be awarded for 1st and 2nd place best zombie make up. Register Now!
